Medical Clipboards

These medical clipboards are imprinted with basic pre-hospital EMS information, e.g. vital signs, Glascow coma scale, Rule of Nines, etc. Great for run sheets in your rig! No charge for one clipboard per licensed ambulance in the Northwest region.

EMS Training - NEW

DATE: October 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011
DETAILS:

	Eligible Members: Any member of organization
	Eligible Training: Any billable, EMS related training
	Maximum Reimbursement: Limited to $100 per person, $500 per agency.
	Department will be invoiced directly from a certified trainer/training institution
	Reimbursement is available to agencies, NOT individuals
	Agencies that are eligible for EMT training reimbursement via the EMSRB are not eligible

Ambulance Medical Directors Retreat

DATE: March 1, 2010 to February 28, 2011
DETAILS:

	Eligible Participants: Ambulance Medical Directors, Ambulance Managers and Greater Northwest EMS Board Members
	Eligible Expenses, Medical Directors & Ambulance Managers: Registration and up to 50% lodging for two nights
	Eligible Expenses, Board Members: Registration and full lodging for two nights
	Reimbursement: All expenses to be paid by individual and/or agency up front. Upon receipt of proof of payment/attendance, within 90 days, a check will be cut for the allowable reimbursement as outlined above.

Training Reimbursement (Initial Training)

DATE: January 1, 2010 to June 28, 2011
DETAILS:

	Eligible Members: New members of organizations; members must pass any/all related exams
	Eligible Courses: 110 hour EMT; National Registry or 40 hour 1st Responder; State of MN
	Maximum Reimbursement: Limited to $200 per person, maximum of $600 per agency per grant cycle. Department will be invoiced directly from a MN certified training institution. Reimbursement is available to agencies, NOT individuals. Agencies that are eligible for EMT training reimbursement via the EMSRB are NOT eligible.

Training Reimbursement (Refresher Training)

DATE: January 1, 2010 to June 28, 2011
DETAILS:

	Eligible Members: New members of organizations; members must pass any/all related exams
	Eligible Courses: 28 hour EMT-B Refresher or 18 hour 1st Responder Refresher
	Maximum Reimbursement: Limited to $100 per person, maximum of $600 per agency per grant cycle. Department will be invoiced directly from a MN certified training institution. Reimbursement is available to agencies, NOT individuals. Agencies that are eligible for EMT training reimbursement via the EMSRB are NOT eligible.

Emergency Driving
Greater Northwest has the following to assist your department in reviewing driving skills:
*Curriculum Materials* Curriculum materials are available free of charge utilizing the National Safety Council Coaching Emergency Vehicle Operation (CEVO) course and include instructor resources.
*Student Handbooks* Student handbooks are available for purchase at a subsidized cost of $9.00 each. Handbooks include a test booklet and course certificate.
*Trainers* Trained facilitators are available for a classroom training session and/or maneuvering skills course. Contact us for cost and availability.
*Traffic Cones* Over 100 traffic cones are available at no charge.

Moulage Kits

Moulage/casualty simulation kits are located throughout the region and are available to utilize at no-cost. Kits include a DVD resource for application of make up and wounds. Contact the following in your area to reserve a kit today:
